Would Anastrozole Taken Try To Reduce The Intensity Of Trigger Finger Compromise The Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Treatment Protocol?
I have developed trigger finger in my left thumb and right middle finger. I am currently taking anastrozole for estrogen supression following breast cancer tumor removal, chemo and radiation in 2012. I was diagnosed with invasive lobular carcinoma and had involvement in 2 lymph nodes. My onocologist said Anastrozole contributes to the development of trigger finger. Would taking the anastrozole every other day to see if it would reduce the intensity of the trigger finger compromise my cancer treatment protocol?

Would Anastrozole Taken Try To Reduce The Intensity Of Trigger Finger Compromise The Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Treatment Protocol?
Hi, The trigger finger intensity will not alter by dose adjustments of the anastrozole. The trigger finger will not compromise your cancer treatment, as it can be managed without worry. If after the cessation of the therapy, the condition persists, then surgery may be an option if needed. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
