Hi, my name is Catherine, Im 45years old and have recently been having a slight bleed from my anus when I have a poo.



This morning I noticed a clot of blood the size of a £1 coin. In the back of my mind Im wondering it this discharge is normal or would it be the first signs of cancer?



I dont want to start worrying for nothing but thought I would check with you first before I sought my family Doctor.



Would blood clots from the anus be cancer?
