Would Changing The Cholesterol Medication Eliminate Pain In The Arms, Thighs And Buttocks And Stiffness In The Left Knee?

I am having sporadic pain in my thighs, arms and butt. I have stiffness in my left knee due to knee replacement surgery in April. IMy doctor just changed my cholesterol medication from exforge to Lipitor. I am on the Lipitor just two days now. and hoping that this change might eliminate pain

Sometimes the medicines for cholesterol cause myalgias in the muscles. Change of medicines may help but wait for at least 7-10 days for the change to be felt.
