I have notice my throat feels different in the last 2 months. It does not hurt, it does not affect my swallowing it is just different. I went to my general doctor, he checked me out looked good, he sent to get my swallowing checked out, I did the MRI swallowed the solution they moved me around and found out everything looks fine. My question is should I go to and ENT specialist, to get checked, it just doesn t feel right. I am a 53 year old male in good shape, work out 5-6 times a week, 5 9 190 lbs. Would gargling Listerine at night for many years cause an irritation over time when I am sleeping and the residue from the gargling settles in the back of my throat while I sleep? Just trying to figure it out.
