I even used to take ovulation tests. It used to come positive.Since i wanted to get pregnant i consulted the doctor. She said as i m overweight egg is not coming out and thats the reason for delay. i asked if its pcos. She said its not looking so. Now i m on diet and already lost 4-5kg in 2 weeks. Would my ovaries be good now? I am even doing exercises.
Hello. It is good that you are exercising and have lost weight, as it helps in controlling the hormonal imbalances in the body. However, I would recommend a blood test for PCOS, thyroid profile and prolactin levels as well. You can do a follicular monitoring study (ultrasound) to see if you are ovulating. Medication is given for stimulating follicular growth and induce ovulation. You can talk to your doctor about it. Hope I have answered your query. Continue regular exercises and eat a healthy balanced diet. All the best.
