Would Pregnancy Be Possible Despite Taking Plan B After Intercourse While On Birth Control Pills?
I take my birth control everyday. My boyfriend and I had sex the day before I was predicted to ovulate. He said he pulled out in time but wasn t sure. I went and got a plan b within 50 hours of the act and took it and have continued to take my pill regularly everyday since. Could I be pregnant?
I can understand your anxiety. It seems you are more knowledgeable in this aspect as you had taken plan B.
Birth control pills give protection to some extent. Birth control pills or contraceptive pills are effective when started after 5 days of periods. So you might be using. So it reduces your chances of pregnancy.
Pull out method is a very natural and safe method of birth control. As your boy friend had tried that method, it gives protection at least to some extent.
And finally plan B that you had got 50 hours before act, gives much more protection.
As it seems you had taken double (actually triple) control measures, there are very negligible chances of getting pregnancy. So don't get tensed and be happy.
