Would Remnants Of Pregnancy Show A Positive Pregnancy Test Result?
Hi, took abortion pill 4 weeks ago, first one orally, next 2 vaginally 24 hrs later. Two week sono showed that pregnancy sac is gone, but some conception remnants are still there, so getting another sono in a week. Meanwhile took pregnancy test today, and it was emphatically positive.... Is it possible that hcg levels are still high or affected by the remnants of pregnancy?

Hello,
You can simply get an ultrasound scan to check whether the abortion is complete or not.
You can also do beta-HCG test to assess the completeness if abortion.
It the abortion is incomplete the beta-HCG values will be very high.
