Would Zyrtec Or Qnasl Or Amitriptlin Cause A False Positive On A Drug Screen Report?

I take several Medes on a daily basis like singular 10mg Zyrtec 10mg qnasl 80 mg per spray two sprays each nostril amitriptlin 25mg 2 tabs daily adderall 30 mg twice a day color tabs 4 mg 2 daily would this Meds cause a false positive on a drug screen and then was sent off for a lab screening both came back possitive for meth I have never been a user of street drugs and was told the lab can test and are able to determine if it s showing positive for amphetamine or methamphetamine is this accurate and is it possible and if so why am I showing this in my test when I m not a drug user of meth. Plz help

Adderall IS an amphetamine so will give you a positive drug test result for amphetamines. It is not a false positive since you are actually taking a prescribed amphetamine, altho it is not meth. It is important when you are getting a drug test to inform the lab of the medications you are taking as some prescription drugs can cause the test to be positive, even though you are not abusing any drugs. In your case if you had told them before they would have expected the amphetamine part of the test to be positive. Hope this helps.
