X-ray Showed Left Hilar Prominence For Pain In Chest, Coughing Up Blood. Could This Be Lung Cancer?

Hi. I m worried about a chest x ray i ve taken a while ago. It shows that i have left hilar proeminence . In the day i went take that x ray, i was with pain in the right side of the chest and a little dificulty to breath. Today i coughed blood just after i taker a shower. I m very worried about these symptoms means lung caner. I hope that you help me, thanks.

Coughing up blood(hemoptysis as we call it) can occur not only in lung cancer but also in some lung infections and other conditions. You should consult an internal medicine specialist or pulmonologist at the earliest to relieve your anxiety. Detailed history, physical examination and investigations like chest Xray(a new one) and CT if needed can bring out your diagnosis.
