X-ray Shows Scar On Left Lung After Cured Pulmonary Tuberculosis. Suggest Ways To Get This Removed
I am 33 years old, female.. I had ptb last 2010 and undergo 6 months treatment. The pulmonologist said I was cured but still I had a scar on my left lung on Xray? It affects my application as a domestic helper in some countries like hongkong, malaysia, singapore and dubai.. Please help me how to removed the scar on my xray

Scar is healed fibrosed tissue. Tuberculosis usually heals via this process of fibrosis. Subsequent chest x-ray usually shows this.
At this juncture, I am sorry to say that this can't be removed. You can show them that this is not an active lesion and that you have taken full course of anti-tubercular treatment and currently you are sputum negative. Get a certificate from registered pulmonologist, if it helps you...
