is it normal for ur heart to speed up a little and have the feeling of rising to the throat area? i notice it mostly when im still or sitting at the computer or school or something. i dont feel nervouse or anything, my heart just speeds up and i feel this pulse up thru my throat and it feels like my heart is in my throat so to speak, then it calms down again. i never reallay paid it any mind, since its been happening ever since i can remeber, but last month a bunch of bruises apeared on my chest, they were kinda faint and bluish, an it kinda freaked me out, i dont know if its related tho.

It is not normal, especially if it happens a lot and the bruising on the chest is definitely not normal especially if you did not have any kind of accident etc., or know how they got there. You could have some type of valve problem or you may not. The only way to know for sure is to have your doctor or a cardiologist check you out. I had the some of the same problems and mine turned out to be a problem with my mitral valve. Some mitral valve defects are nothing to worry about, they just need to be monitored. Unfortunately though, mine was a different situation and I had to have my mitral valve replaced with a mechanical valve. You should see your doctor. Best wishes to you.
