Laparoscopic Done Recently, Belly Button Still Has A Cut. Planning To Getting Belly Pierced, Is It Ok?
I had a laparoscopic done july 16 2013. Inside my belly button still has a cut on the top but its closing (some meat shows it looks a lil nasty) & im thinking about getting my belly pierced next week for my birthday. Will it be healed by that time? Can i get it pierced ? Is it ok ? Any info that i need to know ? Please help me !
I would like to know more information such as what procedure was done and why you are able to see muscle which is unsual. Is it not sutured? Is there any discharge? It is usually seen that in such cases that it takes longer than a week to heal and close. If you get pierced by a belly button there are chances of it getting infected and it is best to avoid it and wait for the cut to heal and close completely. If it doesnt, you should see a doctor who can do the needfull to see that it heals and closes.
