my son s hemoglobin is 10.5 is that low and if so what should I do to increase that number.

yes the haemoglobin level is on lower side;he will require to take medicine for that .please consult a doctor who can start medicine according to his age & weight.

Hello.

Hemoglobin of 10.5 specially in case of males is considered less or just borderline. Try giving him iron supplements- syrups or tablets as per convenience along with good proteins like eggs and green vegetables regularly.

Haemoglobin level should be monitored as soon as possible consulting physicins . i sugget you to take herbal Ayurvedic prepration Natural iron resource for increasing your Hemoglobin level.
If it again go on decreasing you should take blood transplantation 1pound blood for 1gm% rise of haemoglobin

thanks for choosing health care magic.Your son`s hemoglobin is low and you already know it.first you need to know the reason for his low hemoglobin.He may be fussy eater not eating well,or choosy and not eating healthy and having more of junk foods and colas.So before starting any treatment pl.look for the cause.Sometime some parasitic infection can also lead to it.Your doctor will give some medicines as per need.Avoid too much of junk food and colas,give him more of green vegetable and fruits to eat.But do take it regularly and at least for 3 months.
