Pus Cells Detected High Fever And Less Urination.

my baby is nine months old girl,she is detected with the pus cells in urine which are 4-6 per hpf. she is getting high fever and less of urination. may i know the cause for this...and its preventions too so that it can be prevented .

Hi.. Presence of fever would imply infection.. It could have occured due to genital infections or secondary to a systemic infection.. Since she has fever, your daugther may need antibiotics,and a culture growth too.. hence consult your doctor...

my daughter was under medication and has been given a set of antibiotic syrups which in return gave her allergy all over her body. :(

now i m giving her an anti-allergic medicine as prescribed...the allergy is gone...and she is feeling better.

my baby also have same problems.i told you goto your best urologist in your city where you have and consult about that. 100/ he prescribe for mcu it is a x-ray for seeing that reflux if reflux is preasent then he know how type of reflux is 1 or 2nd or 3rd or 4th.then go for dmsa scan is for know is your baby kidney well or not then treat by anibiotic and maine deflux ing.

It seems that your baby is suffering from urinary tract infection.get complete urine examination including culture and sensitivity.get consulted with your pediatrician for proper antibiotic and antipyretic .keep his hydration well maintained with proper hygiene during urination and defecation.if there is recurrent UTI then only further investigations viz.abdominal sonography,MCU/DMSA scan may needed.
