Suggest Medication For Depression
my best friend is going thru depression right now. Her personality has changed and a lot of things that were important to her and no longer. she is on medicine and has been for about a month. my question is will she ever be back to norm and how long will it usually take?

Depression is episodic illness and with proper management, it would improve in a month or two. Rest depends upon severity of illness and medicine, she is taking. Just wait for few more days and with time, she would come back to her normal life. She has to take medicine for months and tell her do not leave medicine without psychiatrist consultation.
