My son has been complaining about hearing music in his head for the past 2 years. He mentions that it sounds like music you would hear on the radio but at other times it is a scratching sound which really has no logic or rhythm. I took him to the doctor who at first did not take it seriously. She then sent him to a hearing specialist. The result was that he has perfect hearing, yet the problem persists. He now tells me that it sometimes really bothers him and he has difficulty doing his school work. Do you have any thoughts or ideas as to what the problem is and how can it be treated. Thank you.
