What Does Deep Yellow Urine, Despite Drinking Water, Indicate During Pregnancy?

I am 19 weeks pregnant and my urine is no longer bright yellow, but deep yellow. I have been drinking lots of water lately, at least 3 small bottles per day and 2 during the night. I urge for water these days has increased drastically and I am responding positively. So, I drink lots of water. Yet, my urine remains very yellowish. What s the problem with me, if any?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

You are pregnant, and there are many changes in your body. So your urine can get concentrated at times, especially with the weight changes, with the changes in your diet. I would either way recommend a urine analysis and a blood glucose test to make sure all is well ma'am. In my opinion, continue drinking plenty of water and stay healthy.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
