What Effects Would Taking One Hit Of Marijuana Do To The Tooth Abscess Treated Area?

I am undergoing tooth abcess treatment, I had my abcess on my gum evaluated and cleaned up a bit, drained, etc. Yesterday, i am wondering what effects would taking one hit of Marijuana do to the area, I am in no pain, constantly cleaning with salt water rinse, brushing teeth several times and flossing

Hello,

Do continue the post procedure care as instructed by your treating doctor. You are advised to take the medicines as prescribed by the treating doctor. Manage oral hygiene seriously. Do not use marijuana as taking it in any form will increase the heartbeat and thus affect the blood vessels.

It may trigger bleeding and slow down the healing of the wound & hence cause infection. You should not take marijuana in any form; it is not heart healthy. It may take 2-3 weeks for the wound to heal. Do not smoke, avoid taking alcohol and drugs.
