What Is The Cause Of Itching On My Jaw?

my jaw line itches. It is very annoying, but now I have noticed that my right side below my ear is a touch swollen. I am thinking allergies because yesterday I was all stopped up on the right side. I took some antihistamines and it made my sinus clear but the itchinig is still there.

Hi dear ,

As per your query you have itching on my jaw. The symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like allergic reaction , injury , infection like Cellulitis ,contact dermatitis and other causes like psoriasis , Kidney failure and liver failure. I would suggest you to consult oral surgeon as well as allergic specialist for proper diagnosis and treatment . Doctor may order certain test like allergic specific test , liver function test and kidney function test . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants along with corticosteroid ointment and vitamin supplement for quick healing . Give cold compresses on affected area . Avoid food like nuts and sea food , prevent your skin from direct sunlight and do not apply any cosmetic . Take benadryl twice a day and keep yourself hydrated by drinking lots of fluids .
