I am a nurse and we all know we are the worst patients. I have a long standing history of Crohn's Disease diagnosed in 1992 with 2 previous surgeries. I had a terrible episode of nausea and vomiting on Monday and I take Phenergan po frequently because I pretty much live with constant nausea. Since I was unable to keep anything down my physician ordered suppositories. My nausea is still worse than my baseline so I have used the suppositories instead of po. I now am having diarrhea constantly as of yesterday and today which is pretty normal to me but I know a suppository would not stay in and I would get no relief because I have gone to the bathroom 6 times since 7am. I worked for hospice many years and at the end of a patient's life when they were unable to swallow we would often give some meds rectally. So, sorry for all of the back story but do you feel it would be ok to take the phenergan suppository vaginally?
