Hello, I am a man and for the last few months I have been having bad side cramps, just under my ribs. Whenever I move I have cramps that bring tears to my eyes. I have trouble going to the bathroom bc when I get up to wipe, the bending causes me to fall into the wall.
Hi, Thanks for your query. Muscle cramps may be due to various reasons including electrolyte imbalance like hypocalcemia or some spinal or root irritation. You can go for an MRI dorsolumbar spine and do check for serum calcium level both ionised and total, serum potassium level. In the meantime you may try analgesics and muscle relaxant. and avoid such positions which is causing it...like forward bending....
Best wishes
