Difficulty In Passing Urine, Odour And Blood In Urine, Feeling Cold, Water With Sodium Bicarbonate, UTI?
Hello, I am a male aged 36 and have a difficulty in passing urine, the urine has an odor , and is bloody. My wife does have a UTI , so I believe that my symptoms are also related to a UTI. However, i am feeling vey cold? Its 12 midnight and will be heading to the doc in the morning, what can i do to keep warm, and also should i be concerned. I have drank lots of water together with some soda bicarbonate . Please advice. Thanks Hussein
Based on the symptoms, you do have an UTI ( may or may not be secondary to urinary stone).
Taking anti pyretics like Paracetamol will control the fever and also blunt the chill response.
You also need to initiate an antibiotic ( in case if you have some at home) preferably a fluoroquinolone like ciprofloxocin or ofloxocin or norfloxocin.
If you dont have any antibiotics at home, just take a paracetamol tablet ( 500 mg 0r 650 mg) once in every 4 hours. Take on more dose of soda bicarbonate in case if you have severe burning micturition.
Wish you a speedy recovery
Take care
