What is Heart rate variability?
Heart rate variability (HRV) refers to the beat-to-beat alterations in heart rate. It is also known as "R-R variability" or "heart period variability". It is a physiological phenomena of variation in the time interval between heartbeats. It is most appropriately measured by ECG as we get a clear wave form. sometimes through Holter method.
