Certain drugs cause serious effects on the fetus. So extra care needs to be taken while taking any drug during pregnancy especially in the first trimester(3 months)

 

Because any medication can present risks in pregnancy, and since not all risks are known, the safest pregnancy-related pharmacy is as little medicines as possible. However, women with a history of psychiatric, seizure-related, or hematologic illnesses do require medication throughout pregnancy. In such patients, care must to be taken to select the safest drug from the necessary class of medication. Some of the complications are Abortions, Birth defects in the baby, preterm labour, etc. Some of the medications considered to be safe are mentioned below with the appropriate conditions mentioned to the left side of the drugs.
