Healthy skin = Beautiful skin
Everyone knows the feels and importance of having a clear, great looking skin. Most of the times we wonder how the models have it. We rather end up thinking of all kinds of difficult regimes that needs to be followed. Beautiful, clear, soft, supple skin makes you look younger. But to get that you need to take good care of your skin daily. Nothing is permanent in the world, so is your skin; which means the older you are, the more important it gets to start a quality skin care to pamper your skin.
Here are some simple steps to follow to help you take better care of your skin daily.
Keep your body hydrated.
You will need to drink a lot of water. With proper hydration of the body, you will start notice quick improvements in the quality of your skin. Just by increasing your water intake to at least 8-10 glasses per day, you will notice your skin becoming more plump, supple, healthy and young looking in about a weeks’ time.
Water keeps our skin young, healthy, and elastic (thereby preventing sagging and wrinkles). Water keeps skin healthy from inside. Lack of hydration, which is dehydration results in skin looking dull, lifeless, wrinkled and old.
Cleansing
Gently cleanse your skin daily using a mild cleanser with a mild light delicate scent such that after washing, the face does not feel tight and dry. You will also feel refreshed and glowing after cleansing and washing your face. The skin also will feel more soft and supple in few days.
Exfoliation
Exfoliate your skin daily. Usually, most of the exfoliating products are too harsh on facial skin to be used daily. Using a product that promotes gentle exfoliation is better for daily use especially at night before sleep. Exfoliation will help to get rid of the dust, grime and pollution that your skin faces the whole day. They also moisturize, soften, and supplement the collagen and antioxidant production in the skin, such that you wake up with a fresher, softer, healthier glowing skin every day.
Use of face pack
Use a face masque to rejuvenate and moisturize your skin. This can be done by both guys and girls. Good face masques can provide all kinds of vitamins and minerals that our face skin love and need to be healthy. These also help in removing the age lines from your face (if you are bit older) or keep them off your face (if you are a bit younger)l also giving a nice youthful glow to your face.
Moisturization
Moisturize your skin daily. Use a high quality facial moisturizer every morning after cleansing to improve the tone of skin the entire day. Age-Defying moisturizing lotions are helpful in replacing the vital moisture in your face and supplement the antioxidants your skin which leaves it feeling very soft and smooth, and also look healthy and young. Moisturizers with sunscreen are also good as they protect your face from sun damage throughout the day.
Avoid using soap to wash your face
Try to practice “No Soap” rule for your face. Instead use a non-soap based face wash. Soaps are harsh on the skin no matter what brand, they strip off too much of the essential oil, leavening the skin looking and feeling really dry. Even soap based face washes are not to be allowed if you want a great healthy looking skin.
For those great looking eyes
Eyes are the center of attraction, next to your skin. So you cannot leave them uncared for. You can use an eye cream that can be rubbed on which will reduce puffiness around your eyes. It also helps in firming and rehydrating the undereye area, thus reducing the wrinkles. Keeping slices of cucumber on the eye for sometime also helps in keeping eyes cool and refreshed.
Lip care
Lips are also an important part of the face. The delicate skin on our lips, needs special care, else it results in looking dry, chapped, and cracked. Using a simple lip balm or a plumper often throughout the entire day will keep them looking and feeling softer, plumper, and healthier.
Neck, hands, legs, and feet
Though our facial skin is the most important to be taken care of in order to maintain a youthful glowing look, we should not forget to take care of other parts in our bodies. So ensure to use atleast a good quality moisturizing body lotion all over, particularly on the neck, hands, elbows, legs, and feet.
Eat well
Most important is to make a list of healthy foods and stick to it. It will also help you to lose your extra weight. Try to incorporate a bowl of fruit salad or a nice vegetable salad daily in your diet, and you will be surprised to see the changes your skin will undergo as a whole, feeling great and looking younger.
Beauty sleep
Try to get plenty of sleep. Lack of sleep not only makes it difficult for you to think clearly, it also translates to your skin, making it look drawn, haggard, gray and old. The skin around and under your eyes are the first to show that you are not having enough sleep. Having a solid 7-8 hour sleep serves to be rejuvenating after all the care that you have taken for it.
Stick to these few simple, easy steps for beautiful and healthy looking glowing skin.
