I have been a medical doctor since 1988 and a board certified neurologist since 1992. Since 2004 I have also been working as a neurologist expert and a forensic neurologist and a stroke specialist since 2005. I started my private practice in 1993 and I have been doing it full time since 1998. I attended specialized post-graduate programmes both in Hungary and overseas. I have participated in and contributed to more than 100 scientific conferences and published more than 166 papers in scholarly journals in Hungary and abroad. I am a member (and a board member of some) of 12 national and international medical societies as well as the editor of the scientific journals Folia Anthropologica and Journal of Human Biology. I do my best to use my professional expertise to the advantage of my patients. My consulting room is far from trendy: it boasts no marble floor and there is not even a receptionist offering coffee, neither is there a long waiting list or an inquisitive assistant.
During my consulting hours, however, even patients without a fixed appointment will be examined and treated or appointments for days of patients' convenience can be made. The discussion of complaints and the necessary examinations are carried out without the needless or annoying presence of assistance. I have won the trust of numerous renowned Hungarian artists, politicians and leading businessmen, who seek my medical advice. As I speak English, French, German and Russian fluently I have also been treating foreign patients living and working in Hungary. At the same time patients from abroad often come to see me with their problems. They are treated with the utmost care and the observation of the most up-to-date professional guidelines. Since May 2004 with Hungary's EU accession things have become easier as patients arriving from EU countries are eligible for the same allowance as Hungarian patients on the price of medicine prescribed by me. Getting better is our common aim.
