Excellent advice. Thank you for your thorough assessment which was clear and concise considering the minimal information provided. An ER visit was absolutely necessary after all. Labs, CT, IV fluids and Zofran were administered. I am appreciative of your advice, and thank you so much!

Your comments were 100% supported by my friend's personal physician, who saw her the next day and followed your suggested actions, fully agreeing with every one of your suggested tests; she has continued to experience the effects of the very distressing cold conditions, but was much relieved to be tole that she did not have pneumonia or strep throat. The doctorngave her an antibiotic medication, with the suggestionnthat she not that medication for a couple of days, to allow nature to heal her, but take the medication if symptoms were further prolonged.
