Thank you for your response Dr. Raju. I have already seen a therapist who in fact recommended the type of therapy you suggested and checked out those that you recommended because the one I have seen can't take on new patients at this time; however, other than being boarded psychiatrists who can work with me none of them specialized in transgender and sexual issues. I wrote the therapist that I saw a few months ago and requested her recommendation, but I don't think there is another one within a reasonable drive from where I live in South Florida. I may have to either travel to one elsewhere in Florida who can provide services via phone or internet as well as periodic face to face sessions. Thanks again and I really appreciate you taking the extra step of looking up local specialists that provide CBT, too!
