Excellent, thorough, asked the right follow up questions, provided diagnosis, provided self help remedies, available treatments. Hospital my daughter was admitted to seems to agree with his diagnosis. Based on that, we have taken our daughter to a neurologist for additional testing/treatment.

He helped ease my worry over the weekend and it was as he had stated. His blood sample had haemolyzed and was giving a false high Potassium reading. He is well within the normal range after an immediate sample was taken. His ECG was also fine. Thank you Dr. Noble Zachariah.

Not sure if this is where I could continue my question ? It seems that this horrible irritation and itching was due to some cream that someone gave him. Any suggestions would be much appreciated thank you. Cari Dennis

Thank you, Dr. Noble Zachariah. You were spot on and provided us with a great sense of relief. Turns out it was Vasovagal Syncope after the hospital completed their blood tests and EKG. We will get with my daughter's neurologist to find the triggers so she can avoid them. But I think you were also spot on when you advised to avoid hot crowded places and not to stand for prolonged period of time (and what to do if she does have to expose herself to these triggers). Good to know that blood pressure will return to normal just by lying down. We now know how to go about coping with her disorder and which treatments/specialist to focus on.
