Thank you for your diagnosis Dr, I indeen had UTI and got some medication for it, I have taken AZO over the counter and that took care of the pain over the week end I was waiting for the AZO to clear so the clinician could take a reading thanks for listening, sincerely bettmjump

It seemed fine. However, I did ask my physician, gently, to prescribe a longer course of antibiotics and he disagreed. I know what will happen...the same thing that happened each time he prescribed a 7 day or 10 day course...the infection came back. I am not sure what it will take to convince him to prescribe a longer course of antibiotics. My pharmacist said that the standard of practice for mastoiditis is >20 days.
