It was great to receive an answer to my question, during my plastic surgeons off hours. My question did not seem like an emergency, so I was apprehensive about contacting the on call physician. If I hadn't stumbled upon this site, I may have gone snip crazy, and caused unnecessary complications.

I was able to ask frank questions and raise matters which Dr. Choudhary answered. He was open to a range of possibilities. He became more open about Citalopram and its possible effects after I put my knowledge of it to him. He widened the subject by suggesting I consider another possibility in respect of my health generally.I liked the word idiosyncrasy in relation to the fact that some patients for some unknown reason have reactions to the drug and its family members as I did.

Thanks Dr. Choudhary! I sort of figured he was probably right, but as I mentioned I do have a mild case of hypochondria. Your answer helps explain why this problem is gotten better after I quit smoking and got back into a regular exercise pattern. Hopefully with those things combined (and a healthy diet) this will simply go away.
