Excellent advice on thyrotoxicosis concern. Advice supports my suspicion that thyroxicosis cannot be ruled out yet when I go back to my GP, though other tests will be done for diabetes, diabetes insipidus, I will insist on full thyroid tests which hospital emergency did not do, eg scans, pituary tests etc. I will also ask GP to refer me to private endocrinologist. May I say I have got top answer from online GP, bolstering my own suspicions that thyroxicosis cannot be ruled out yet of diagnosis, despite basic bloodtest and diagnosis by first year resident in emergency.
