Thanks for the information. I have checked with a vascular specialist locally. Performed ultra-sound and cat scan. I have PAD. He recommended leg exercises (walking, etc,) = as you did - for the next 3 months, after which surgery (angioplasty) will be considered depending on my results from the leg exercises.

Hi Doc, thank you for the detailed information. My research and personal problems came to a similar conclusion to you excellent feedback. I too thought it was something to do with spasms. It all fits now. I have made an appointment to see the doctor next week. Thanks for your help.
