32 Years Old, Dark Black Colored Urine. Is It Life Threatening?
From the description of the urine you are passing it appears that your urine contains significant residue due to the immobilzed state. This should be taken seriously as it can give rise to renal stones both in the kidney as well as in the bladder. This can damage your kidneys. It can also give rise to severe renal failure. It needs to be immediately investigated by a primary doctor. You should first reach a specialist whoever is available in the country you reside.
You need to do the following
1. Blood investigatios for renal function (BUN, Creatinine, Electrolytes, Ammonia)
2.CBC ( anemia and infection)
3.Urine examination for various substances( as a part of routine urine examination)
4.USG of the KUB region to look for urinary stones and back pressure changes and if positive then a plain xray KUB to quantify and identify the anatomical postion of these stones.
5.If you don't have a urinary catheter in the bladder then I would suggest you to go for a suprapubic catheter which will drain the urine properly as well as enable you to be given a rigorous bladder wash at least twice a day which will help clear all the urinary sediments and infected urine as well as monitor the urine output closely.
6 A course of urinary antibiotics is mandatory in your case as the color and description of your urine sounds scary.
7. If your daily water intake is less, then IV fluids may also be required till your entire renal system is assessed and whatever abnormalities detected rectified.
Hope this helps. Worry is not the answer, seeking immediate investigation is key.
Thanks
