90 Years Old. Experiencing Low Body Temperature, Nausea And Vomiting. Stomach Viral Infection?
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
Yes, this can be a viral infection. However usually also diarrhea appears with such infection. But vomiting can be also caused by peptic ulcer, gallstones, bowels obstruction, heart attack or even kidneys failure.
You should be aware of low blood pressure, lack of urine, no gases and stool, abdominal pain, shortness of breath, chest pain, headaches, sleepiness. If any of mentioned symptoms will appear, you should contact your doctor.
It is also very important to give sufficient amount of fluids when vomiting, especially at older person.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
