Are Defcort And Pamagin Advisable In A Infant For Cold And Flu?

Question: Defcort is advised for 1 year and 8 month old son, and Pamagin-C with Oxipod .. he has temperature too
also given P125 .. he has crackling throat like cold.. is it ok to go ahead with the above medicines

Brief answer....yes these medicines can be given except the fact that you don't need p 125 because you are already giving PAMAGIN C which has a fever reducing agent acetaminophen in it.

Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understood your concern.
The medicines prescribed are absolutely all right except the use of P 125 in addition to use of PAMAGIN C. ACETAMINIPHEN present in PAMAGIN C would help in relieving his fever and hence there is no need to give P 125 ( paracetamol ),if PAMAGIN C is being given regularly 3-4 times a day.
In addition you can give steam inhalation to your child 2-3 times a day which would help in relieving his cold symptoms fast.
