Brief Answer:
Please stop Melapik
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
I have read you query and I understand your concerns about Melapik effects on pregnancy.
Following is my reply:
1) There is possibility of baby being affected due to Melapik.
2) I suggest you stop it immediately.
3) Please get ultrasound scan done at 12 weeks and 20 weeks to check for any abnormalities in baby.
4) It is not necessary that pregnancy needs to be terminated. All babies are not affected by 5 weeks use of Melapik.
5) Hence, stop the Melapik and continue pregnancy.
I hope I answered you query and addressed your concerns.
Let me know if you wish to ask any further questions. I will be glad to help you.

Hi Doctor
Thanks for your reply.
but do you think there are any chances for something negative to happen.
Also if something negative is going to happen are those deformation be visible in ultrasound scan during 12th and 20th week.
Also its just cream which is applied externally and not taken internally via tablet, how severity that external creams effects during pregnancy.
Kindly comment on creams applied externally and tablet taken internally

Brief Answer:
Better to stop cream
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Chances of negative events like abnormality in baby can happen but with less chances as you are stopping it early at 5 weeks. These abnormalities can be screened by ultrasound scan as explained before. The abnormalities can be visualized in ultrasound scan.
Creams though applied externally are absorbed in to blood circulation. So better to stop it. So there is no much difference between cream and tablet. They enter blood circulation.

Brief Answer:
Not much risk to baby
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It is better to have stopped when pregnancy has taken place. 3 months is not required. But then it is difficult to say when will you get pregnant precisely.
By your cream usage you dont have much risk and baby is likely to be safe. Dont worry about it.
