Are Abdominal Cramps After Getting Sexually Aroused Normal?
Question: Hi, I was aroused today and began having terrible cramps, like menstrual cramps. I've been aroused a few different times today, and they all cause the cramps. Then they subside when things are back to normal. I haven't had sex, aside from oral once in December, so I'm not pregnant. What could be the cause?
Brief Answer:
Normal to have cramps.

Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
It is normal to have cramps when you are aroused as arousal is associated with uterine contractions. These contractions usually subside in few minutes. This is a normal finding and is not suggestive of any pathology. No need to worry.
