Not a whole lot of blood. it dries around the opening and there is some in the canal.
No pain
No old ear issue
Haven't done anything
Can go to an urgent care
No pain just feeling a small amount of pressure
Was dumb and was using a Q tip

Brief Answer:
You shouldnt worry much

Detailed Answer:
Hello ,

Thanks for writing back,
according to your symptoms and their severity your eardrum has got some trauma but it does not look greatly damaged, hopefully it is intact.

It usually doesn't need any major treatment or intervension the doctor may decide to start antibiotics to counter possible future infection otherwise it heals by itself.

I would suggest you to keep cleaning the ear canal with a wet cotton Q tip but DO NOT push it too deep to touch the ear drum. It is expected to heal in 15 days to a month.

Here i would like to mention that Qtip can be wet but it shouldnt be soaked...water should not touch your eardrum or stay in ear canal.

I would also suggest you to visit doctor nearby just to let him look into your ear with an otoscope to check the severity if damage ..though it doesnt look severe according to your symptoms.

You might then ask him what should you expect and if you need antibiotics for profilaxis or not?

Don't be much anxious it does not seem to be any major damage but yes it will need care and A single visit to doctor will probably relieve your mind much.

Wish you brisk recovery .

Regards.

Dr.Muhammad Ahmad
