As per your complain it seems that your son has suffered from a traumatic
injury leading to ear drum perforation and in case if the perforation is small it generally heals with medications..
But you should consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like otoscopy will be done for confirmation..
He can be advised a course of antibiotics, anti inflammatory painkiller and decongestant nasal drops for faster resolution of the perforation..
In case if the perforation does not shows signs of healing in 2 to 3 weeks then surgical repair of the
eardrum can be done by
Tympanoplasty..
You should also avoid excessive water exposure to the ears..
Limit excessive exposure to loud sounds..
