Are Body Rashes And Swollen Lymph Nodes In Lower Jaw Symptoms Of HIV?
Dear Doctor
I had approached you last week regarding rash in my body and chance of getting HIV. Here I has attached screen shots for your easy reference.
I would wish to inform one more thing that the rashes are gone on its own, couple of days back. This is exactly after 3 months from the date (01-01-16) of possible exposure.
I got this kind of rash in my body from 04th week (24-01-16) onwards. Inbetween these period one time I got lymph nodes in lower jaw gum of teeth inside mouth which disappeared in 2days.
Please advise is this related to early HIV infection symptoms.
Please Doctor, this is my final query.
Thanks
Not related to HIV in any way.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXX,
Welcome to HCM once again.
The symptoms are not related to early HIV infection as the risk is not there in your case. They are mostly due to some other infection or allergy nothing else so don't get scared or worried. You are absolutely safe and risk free from HIV.
If still it is bothering you then the best solution is to get tested. As 3 months have already passed the test result will be 100% reliable and conclusive. It will clear all your negative thoughts and give you the sense of mental satisfaction.
Hope this info will help you. If still any doubt or query left in your mind feel free to ask me any time and I am always here to help you out straight way.
Thank You
God bless you for your kind services to us.
Thank you so much for the advise.
Since I am living in Qatar I couldn't take my test immediately here. Next month I am traveling to XXXXXXX and wish to have my test there as soon as possible.
Doctor, please I have one more clarification. Please forgive me for asking silly questions to you.
This kind of rash was there in my body from 04th to 13th week after my last possible encounter. After 13th week rash got permanently disappeared.
In googling I understood, in this period only lot of antibodies used to generate in our body, if one got infected with HIV.
If my immune system is busy with generating antibodies then by any chance it can relate with my rash i.e., immune system didn't find enough capacity to fight against other usual bacteria or virus affecting us day-by-day life and it cause rashes.
Doctor please forgive me if I am irritating or disturbing you.
Note: in my point of view two kinds of people are like God in earth. One is doctors and other is pilots. Both are doing miracles in front of us.
Thank you Doctor
It is not the possibility.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXX,
Welcome back and thanks for follow-up.
First of all, I am very happy to hear that you are feeling much relaxed now. Feel free to ask your query whenever you are in need and no need to be sorry.
The risk of HIV is not there in your case then there is no question of antibody production in the body. Sometimes it happens that allergic or other infected rash will take this much time to heal or wean off. Be relaxed and don't get scared or feared about HIV because you are definitely safe and risk free.
Get tested after your arrival in XXXXXXX and the test result will surely come in your favor. If still any doubt left in your mind, you are most welcome any time and I am always here to help you out straight way.
Thank You
