Are Excessive Salivation, Vomiting And Chest Pain Symptoms Of Acid Reflux?

Question: Can acid reflux start suddenly. Last night and all day today I've had bouts of where I start to salivate and feel like throwing up. Then I also have a pain, uncomfortable, right at the center of my chest at the bottom of my breasts. I haven't actually had any heaves and thrown up. No temperature.

Hi,

I have reviewed this information fully. With this pain responding somewhat to antacids, it is most likely acid reflux and not a heart attack. Also, the nature and location and not in line with a heart attack. Continue with the antacids and if need be, take omeprazole 20mg daily by mouth.
