Are Exercises Advisable While Having A Stent In My Common Bile Duct?
I sorry for delaying in reply to you, but that was due to busy life and some family circumstances. Though, I sent you a reply regarding the diet and exercises, but it seems it did not went.
I was wounder if I can make exercises with the stent still in my CBD.
I also did not find the casein protein supplement in the market in Libya, with what should I replace it?
I also need the full schedule of the exercises for the three months since my registration in the site will end at he end of the month.
I had this offer from German to retive the stones from my CBD and CHD "PD. Schumacher recommends an ERCP and several PTCD, which have to be done in several sessions. How much can´t be said before the first examinations. PD. Schumacher can´t guarantee
the success of this conservative way of treatment. In case of a more worse situations than expected, the patient has to be operated.
The diagnostic work-up and initial adaptations of the therapeutic regimen will require a 21 day in-hospital stay."
What do you think about it?

Detailed Answer:
Hello again my dear patient,
Hope you are fine now.
Don't do exercises now.Execises should be started once you are fully normal.
You can replace casein with cottage cheese(low fat cottage chesse is available in market).
You can take 100 gram before going to bed every day.
Regarding exercise schedule you can increase weight by 2 lbs every 3-4 weeks. As your body starts adapting for a particular exercise increase weights but don't over do any exercise.Try to go with your body. You shoud always do a weight you are comfortable with.
Using ultrasound with ERCP significantly increases the success rate of ERCP.
Its an excellent and latest procedure. If done properly with expert hands it has success rate of almost 90-95%.
However every patient is not a candidate for minimally invasive surgery and a decision can be reached only after evaluating all reports properly by your primary surgeon.
So good luck.
