Are Fatigue, Mental Fog, Eye Discomfort And Diarrhoea Symptoms Of Yeast Infection?
Question: I read an article about candida and if an imbalance or over abundance of yeast could be causing my symptoms of fatigue even after sleeping 11 hrs a night, mental fog, including a strange feeling in my eyes, diarrhea, and muscle twitching everywhere in my body. I don't feel comfortable driving a car or even functioning on a normal daily basis. This has been going on for 7 weeks now. I am a 23 yr old male who has always been healthy. I've tested negative for Lyme's disease, had a normal brain MRI, normal EKG and normal blood tests. Please help.
Brief Answer:
may be due to stress/anxiety.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concerns.
Do you have any stress in life?
Do you use alcohol or any other drugs?
Were your symptoms of sudden onset or developed slowly?
Your symptoms of fatigue, mental fog, strange feeling in eyes, diarrhoea and muscle twitching in background of normal investigations could be due to anxiety disorder.
Candiasis, and many infectious disease for that matter, can cause such symptoms.
But you have normal blood tests. This suggests that there is no infection.
You can go for blood culture to further rule out infections.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks.
