Are Hand Tremors A Sign Of Parkinson's Disease?
Question: I have had tremors for the last 5 years. I have been to probably 10 Doctors, and none of them can come up with a diagnosis. Some say it is Parkinson's, some say famialel tremors. At this point my hands both shake, my right leg shakes, and my head and jaw will start shaking about 4:oo PM. I have been taking Carb/Levo 25-250 2 tablets 3 times a day, also1 mg Clonazepam twice daily. The symptoms just keep getting worse, and I need some help. Thank you. My E-mail is YYYY@YYYY

I carefully read your symptoms and unfortunately as you explained them it seems like Parkinson disease
To confirm diagnosis, tremor and shaking isn't enough.
To call it Parkinsonism diagnosis is based on clinical evaluation.
Tremor, bradikinesia, and alteration of postural reflex confirm the diagnosis.
Fortunately benign, familiar or activity tremor isn't progressive, in most cases.
In my opinion you should discuss with your neurologist (choose one which is specialised is extrapyramidal disorders) about treatment
You should absolutely schedule an brain magnetic resonance to rule out any organic brain disorder
Clinical evaluation is needed to decide Parkinson stratification
You should discuss with your neurologist about changing treatment as it is known that levodopa isn't effective at your age
Parkinson is treatable at most cases but unfortunately there is no definitive treatment
