Are Nausea, Increased Appetite, Abdominal Bloating And Swollen Breasts Symptoms Of Pregnancy?

Question: Hi,
For about a month now I have had a lot of what I thought were pregnancy symptoms, nauseous, hungry almost all the time, going to the bathroom a lot more, extremely tired, nausea to food smells or just reading a menu also some bloating and swollen breasts. My last period wasn't very long ago and it wasn't as long or as painful as it usually is. I just got it again last night and its dark and severe cramping and back ache. I am 24 and have irregular periods. My husband and I do not use condoms or bc.
Also I don't know if this is important but I have had mild cramping on and off for a little over a week.

Brief Answer:
It could be PCOS, but take a pregnancy test anyway.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Please take a pregnancy test to confirm if you are pregnant.
And the symptoms that you mention are common with PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome, a common cause of irregular cycles, bloating, weight gain etc.
What is your height and weight ?
Please have a complete evaluation for irregular periods.
Get an internal exam by a Specialist OB - GYN, Pap smear, pelvic transvaginal ultrasound scan , and hormonal levels - FSH, LH, TSH, Prolactin, OGTT, DHEAS, Free testosterone, Lipid Profile.
That will confirm the diagnosis.
All the best
Please feel free to discuss further.

Thank you for getting back to me. I took a pregnancy test and came back negative. I haven't had any weight gain. I'm 5'3" and weigh 115. I don't know if there is a chance I could still be pregnant. It has been very difficult trying to get an appointment with my doctor. Thank you for your help.
