. yes i started realizing these things after my sexual contact it was the first one in my life. i asked my partner if she has any issues but she denied but i can never be sure the pimples are red and they hurt. the pimples i got on my forehead was after almost 3 months from the sexual contact. here i attached a picture thank you for your reply doc. i appreciate it i really need some help with this.
Brief Answer:
I have seen the picture it's equivocal.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing back to me and aiding with a picture, i have closely looked at the picture.
My opinion:
This is not exactly how syphilis looks like, syphilis rash is usually a combination of ulcers and papules but in your case this picture is more consistent with rash of herpes, or chicken pox, for that matter. Here i want to mention that Syphilis is called "the great imitator" because it comes with many variable presentations so we can not rule it out with just a picture, we have to do tests like VDRL and dark field microscopy to rule it out. There is another thing about syphilis rash , that it is mostly painless, but in your case your rash is paining, so it further gives us another point against syphilis as a suspect.
Good thing is that even if it is syphilis, it is perfectly treatable and treatment shows better results than viral issues like herpes and chicken pox. Syphilis is dangerous only if untreated.
Most probably:
It looks like a viral illness like herpes or Chicken pox rather than syphilis, but nothing can be sure until you get tested.
SUGGESTIONS:
1- Kindly get a complete medical check-up and get yourself tested.
2- Start medicine promptly if tests come out positive, if they come out negative then it's a viral issue your doctor will suggest medicine according to viral illness then.
3- Drink more water and get meds like tylenol as aid if you get body pains or fever.
4- Get yourself tested and medicated as soon as possible.
Hope i answered your question, if you have more question i am happy to answer, if not then please rate the answer and close the discussion.
