Are Red Spots On The Penile Shaft Signs Of Warts?
Question: I've recently been noticing for the past few months now some spots on my penile shaft. They are kinda pink/purplish and shiny when held in a certain angle of light. I've gotten big spots like an 1/8" big to smaller pin size spots. They aren't really raised and I don't notice it being a bump when I slide my finger over them and if I leave them alone they don't change or grow really but also don't fade away. I've gotten into a bad habit though of poking them with a needle and found that the top layer of skin cleaning separates off and tears along the border of the shiny skin. The skin underneath is usually moist and reddish then heals over but either becomes normal skin or goes back to being kind of purple and shiny. I was worried about it being warts even though they don't look like it and did a at home vinegar test but didn't notice any changes in color to anything. I worry about stds but last encounter was about 4 months ago and was just very brief oral. Could this just be something fungal or from friction maybe? My wife tends to get kinda dry during sex so I've wondered if it's friction rubbing that isn't healing. Seems to be more located towards the veiny areas during an erection. When I poked them and removed skin also there hasn't been any bleeding at all and also no itching. Please help me get some piece of mind in this matter

Brief Answer:
likely fordyce spots
Detailed Answer:
hi. thank you
I have reviewed the images. These spots are most likely fordyce spots which are nothing but ectopic sebaceous glands. They are a normal anatomic variation and you can just leave them alone.
They are not warts.
