Question: 1-2 weeks, I had a sore throat with tiny whitish/yellowish spots on the tonsils, my strep test was negative, mild joint pain, leg muscle aches. No fever. HIV?

Hello. I just read through your question.
The symptoms you describe are not consistent with HIV. In the presence of a negative strep test, the most likely diagnosis is a harmless, self-limited virus. Hydration and rest will speed your recovery.

Hi Dr. XXXXXXX thats what i thought until I woke up and saw some dandruff in my head and my palms and a couple of fingers have been peeling. I am also very tired. My symptoms started May 15th, the peeling has just started. These pictures represent where the peeling took place. It was very minor, but i have never had this before. Is this normal after a viral infection? What are consistent HIV symptoms?
