after about two months of on and off sore throat. I had a swap test and bllod cuture test which were negative.I then developed a lump in the back of my mouth and was told that it may be torus paltinus, the pain is mild but it keep moving and now I feel like there is something in my throat causing more discomfort...Although I also saw a dentist and he aid there was no inflammation in my throat just this lump, and it should go away. should I be concerned ?
The torus palatinus usually occurs in oral cavity and your symptoms are concerned with throat. Since your Dentist also told that there is no inflammation and this could be just tonsils. Just keep doing gargling with warm water with salt very frequently. You can also take paracetamol 6th hourly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
